Book List for High School Students: Mindfulness, Self-Regulation, EQ, and Emotional Awareness

The list below provides a set of resources that can help high school students to learn self-regulation, mindfulness, EQ, and emotional awareness.

Some of these may be helpful to give to individual students to meet SEL needs (Anxiety Relief for Teens), other may be helpful for teachers to read and to use in the classroom (Brainstorm and Stuff That Sucks). It may be that teachers want to use some of these books with students as a kind of mindfulness or SEL curriculum (Mindfulness for Teens in 10 Minutes a Day).
