My New Podcast “Something to Normalize” Presented by "The One You Feed"

Dear Friends,

This time last year, I went for a walk by the river with a (relative) stranger. Her name was Ginny Gay, and I’d met her through her partner and my good friend Eric Zimmer who hosts a podcast called "The One You Feed."

Do you ever have those moments where you just click with someone and you want to know them better right away? It was like that.

As we walked along the banks of the water, we found a safeness— a place to share and be vulnerable. It felt like belonging. It felt like the opposite of shame.

Out of that walk came a beautiful friendship I've grown to cherish. Ginny walked with me as I reported abuse from a spiritual teacher I’d worked with for nearly a decade. I helped her through the grief that came from losing her mom to Alzheimer’s.

Being a victim of abuse, or experiencing deep grief, can create a sense of shame and isolation. But more often than not, when we share our hard experiences— like we did that day along the river and on so many days since— we have a chance at true connection.

From our friendship, has come a new adventure I want to share with you.

Ginny and I are launching a special series called, “Something to Normalize” on The One You Feed—the show she hosts with her partner Eric.

In this five-part podcast series, we talk about what it means to normalize experiences that often separate us, which creates room for connection and healing together.

We hope you will join us each Friday for a new episode— the first one is already out! If you want to start listening now, you can subscribe here to listen wherever you get your podcasts

Please also check out  our new landing page to join our community newsletter and get updates about the show.

We are so excited to welcome you into the little world of belonging we’ve been nurturing.

We hope you feel as nourished, affirmed, and strengthened by every conversation as we have.

Give it a listen, and let us know what you think!

With Anticipation,

Brandi
